  1. Ashwell Street Party
    1-5pm on the High Street
    Ashwell Village Street Party, Sunday 9th July. 1:00- 5:00pm. All residents are invited to a party in the High Street, which will be closed between Gardiners Lane and Hodwell for the event. Ashwell Rainbows will sing and dance traditional English nursery rhymes to entertain us.   2. Free entrance to Ashwell Museum
    Ashwell Museum will be open free of charge, 9th and 10th September as part of National Heritage Weekend.

    Illustrated Talk on the story of the Merchant Taylors' School Ashwell and a Screening of the BBC TV programme "Look Stranger" made in the 1970s about Ashwell, John Morris and the Domesday Book. Details to follow

    Final Tree Planting
    Final Commemorative Tree Planting, Saturday 9th December. A commemorative tree to be planted as the final event in the centenary celebrations. Tea at URC Hall afterwards. Details to follow.
